Franchises coming soon
Two cravings. One franchise.
Pizzeria Maki puts pizza and sushi in one restaurant. If you want to hear from us when sales open, leave your name.
Leave your nameBoth. On purpose.
Pizza and sushi share one brand, one lease, one crew, and one register, built that way from the start.
Why this travels
Two draws, one box
Pizza night and sushi night are usually two trips. Here they share four walls, one crew, and one register.
A real shop
The shop has been open in Wilmington since 2021, with takeout, a patio, and catering. Guests already understand the idea. This is not a concept board looking for a first kitchen.
No secret. Just standards.
Anyone can put pizza and sushi on a sign. Doing both right, every shift, is the hard part.
The dough takes three days, and rice that doesn't meet the standard doesn't see the light of day. None of it is secret — it's just work most kitchens quietly stop doing once they get busy.
We don't. The bar is the same whether it's a slow Tuesday or a busy Friday. Anyone could do this, few do.
Built to scale
In most restaurants, the magic walks out with the founder. That's a hard thing to buy.
Built from day one with growth in mind. The recipes, the stations, the standards, all written down. You get a business you can run and repeat, not a founder you have to replace.
